Black Stone Cherry release a new video for “Out of Pocket.”
Talking about the video they say, “We had a blast recording the video for Out Of Pocket with our long-time friend and collaborator, director Mike Rodway and his DP, Rove, who have done several videos and our latest Blu Ray for us. We shot our part of the video in a place that is very special to us, The Plaza Theatre in Glasgow, KY, which is where we recorded the drums and guitars for our new album! It was a fun shoot on a very dark stage with minimal lighting! Enjoy this thrilling video and turn it up!”
The video drops in time for fans to get pumped up for their co-headline UK arena tour with British rockers The Darkness, which started off in Birmingham’s Resorts World Arena on 28th January and end with a major headline show in London at the Wembley OVO Arena on the 4th of February.
“Out of Pocket” is the band’s first new song since the release of their 2020 album The Human Condition and is another trademark rocker from their locker. Emotionally rousing with a roof-raising battle cry chorus, it shows the band at their anthemic best. The lifelong friends Chris Robertson, vocals/guitar; Ben Wells, guitar/vocals; and John Fred Young, drums, welcome their new bass player Steve Jewell on his first studio recordings, having slayed the stages with them over the past two years.
Black Stone Cherry have 2023 firmly in their sights and are taking it, lock, stock and barrel.
