Hughes har rekryterats som bandets nye sångare och basist. Därmed ersätter han både John Corabi och Marco Mendoza.
Supergruppen som bildades 2013 har sedan starten haft en roterande konstellation. Den forne Mötley Crüe-sångaren samt tidigare Black Star Riders-basisten Marco Mendoza väljer nu att hoppa av bandet och satsa på egna soloprojekt.
The Dead Daisies meddelar på deras officiella hemsida att Glenn Hughes ersätter dem båda. Dessutom är deras arbete med ny musik redan i gång. De meddelar nämligen också att de redan har varit i studion och spelat in några låtar till ett kommande album som beräknas att släppas nästa år.

From the band’s inception, the idea was for members to bring their own ideas to the table but also have the flexibility to come and go when working on their other projects.
Both John and Marco are, and always will be, a part of The Dead Daisies musical family, but at this point in time they have decided to do some work on their own solo projects.
