Inte bara artisters turnéer påverkas inom musikindustrin – även Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame meddelar att deras ceremoni skjuts upp.
Rock And Roll Hall Of Fames årliga ceremoni skulle ha ägt rum i Cleveland den 2 maj. Nu skjuts ceremonin upp på grund av coronaviruset. Rock And Roll Hall Of Fames ordförande Joel Peresman meddelar att han kommer att återkomma med ett nytt datum för ceremonin inom en snar framtid.
Ordförande Joel Peresman sade så här till tidskriften Rolling Stone:
”We are very disappointed to announce the postponement of this year’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Our first concern is to the health and safety of our attendees and artists and we are complying to the direction of the local and state authorities and common sense. We look forward to rescheduling the ceremony and will make that announcement at the earliest convenience.”
Artisterna och banden som valdes in i år blev Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, The Doobie Brothers, Whitney Houston, T-Rex and the Notorious B.I.G.
