“***CATS IN SPACE- ATLANTIS STATEMENT***
As you may have read Mark Pascall is no longer with CATS IN SPACE.
Unavailability for the 2021 calendars live campaign and also the recording scheduling for Atlantis, has made Mark’s position due to other commitments both personal and workwise, unworkable. The band will be very active next year and this requires a 100% free calendar, as priority, to fulfill a strong and busy campaign on top of the scheduling for studio work that has taken place and continues to do so.
In defence of the email debate- Since joining, Mark always preferred to conduct business with the band via ‘messenger’ or occasionally on email. It was easier for him due to being very busy, and unable to take calls from the band. This has been the case for the last 12 months bar a few initial conversations about his joining the band etc over a year ago. So that is the reason why we did as always- and message. A following phone conversation via Mark also took place.
That is it simply, and the end of it from this side.
We truly wish him every success with Departed and all other musical ventures, and we thank him for a brilliant tour and Christmas campaign.
Atlantis the new album is in full swing, and we will bring you more news very soon with all the developments.
As always we appreciate the incredible support from you all, which never ceases to amaze, and we promise you great things are on the horizon.
Greg, Steevi, Deano, Jeff, Andy – CiS”
