Pretty Maids trummis Allan Tchicaja har efter 12 års tid, beslutat sig för att lämna bandet.
Bandet har via ett inlägg på Facebook meddelat att Allan Tchicaja har valt att lämna bandet för att fokusera på sin familj. Vem som kommer att ersätta honom under de kommande spelningarna är ännu oklart.
Bandets meddelande lyder:
“Statement from PM:
It’s with great regret and heavy heart we write this post and have to inform you that Allan Tchicaja has decided to leave the band to focus on his family and other endeavors (read his statement below).
With his unique drumming style and personality he really made a big impression on the Pretty Maids sound in recent years.
After so many years in the band he will be not only be missed dearly by the band but also by you, the fans. It’s a sad day but we have to respect his decision. After all being in a band is not a life sentence:-).
We thank him and wish him the best luck on his future endeavors, but as you know, The Show Must Go On!!
We have a replacement that will fill in for Allan for all the forthcoming shows. We will let you know shortly what is going on there but for now below here is a statement from Mr. Tschicaja himself:
After 12 fantastic years of touring, recording, rocking and rollin’, I’ve decided to leave Pretty Maids. It’s been a difficult decision for me, but I want to focus more on family, friends and other projects. Pretty Maids is an amazing band with a great legacy and present career that many can only dream of! I wish my mates in the band all the best in the future – you deserve it!”
